Who I am

Jason Campbell Coaching is a trading name of Jason Campbell, a sole trader based in Hertford, England. For the purposes of UK data protection law I am the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

What I collect

Only what you give me, and only when you choose to give it:

• Through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you enter one, and whatever you write in the message box.
• When you book a call: bookings run through Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time.
• If you email or call me directly: whatever you send or tell me.

I do not run analytics on this site, so there is no tracking of who visits, where from, or what they look at.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you have not been asked.

Why I collect it and on what basis

To reply to you and, if we end up working together, to arrange and deliver that work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests where you have approached me about my services, and performance of a contract once you become a client.

I do not send marketing emails and there is no mailing list to join.

Who else sees it

As few people as possible. The services that necessarily handle your data are:

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives contact form submissions.
• Microsoft 365 — my email.
• Calendly — booking, if you use it.
• My accountant — invoicing details for clients only.

I do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone else without your permission.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for six years after our last piece of work, because HMRC requires it.

Coaching notes

Anything discussed in a coaching session is confidential. Where notes are kept they are minimal, stored securely, and never shared with an employer paying for the sessions beyond what has been agreed with you in advance.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what I do with it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to my processing it. Email me and I will deal with it within one month.

If you are not happy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
