The sector matters less than you’d expect, because the problems repeat. So do the fixes.
The reset comes first
Before anything grows, the basics have to be right: what you charge, what the work actually costs you, where the money goes, and which jobs are worth having at all.
Most owners are surprised by at least one number in this part. It’s usually the busy, profitable-looking work that isn’t.
Then the growth
We build something that doesn’t need you in it every hour — the work that should be someone else’s, the systems that stop you being the bottleneck, and a plan for the next twelve months that survives contact with a busy week.
Growth that depends entirely on the owner isn’t growth. It’s just a longer day.
