Who I work with
Board members, directors and senior leaders, and the people being lined up for those roles. Sometimes the company pays, sometimes you do.
Either way the sessions are yours. What gets said in them stays in them, including the things you can’t say anywhere else.
What we work on
Whatever is actually in the way. More often than not that’s the people part of the job rather than the technical part — a team that isn’t performing, a peer you can’t get aligned, a conversation you’ve been putting off for months.
Sometimes it’s a decision there’s nobody safe to discuss inside the business. Sometimes it’s simply that the role got bigger and nobody explained how to do it.
How it runs
Usually 90 minutes at a time, every three or four weeks, in person or over video. Long enough to get somewhere, spaced far enough apart to act on it in between.
No fixed programme and no workbook. The agenda is whatever matters most that month.
What changes
You make decisions faster and defend them better. The conversations you’ve been avoiding get had. Your team stops waiting for you.
And you have one place to think out loud where nothing you say gets repeated.
